It’s no secret that the Denver metro area is a great place to do business. Here are the top seven reasons to do business in Colorado:
Seven: We are competitive. Home to seven major professional sports teams, the Denver metro area ranks seventh best for sports travel, according to Hotels.com and SeatGeek.
Six: We use our whole brain. Denver was ranked the sixth most creative city by Movoto Real Estate thanks to plenty of galleries, art schools, performing arts and stores that ensure the right side of our brain gets the attention it deserves, too.
Five: We’re actually hiring. We were named fifth best city for job seekers by NerdWallet, the fifth best city for tech jobs and fifth for start-up activity—with 370 out of every 100,000 adults starting a business.
Four: We look good. We take full advantage of all the outdoor activities our state has to offer, giving us the fourth-highest fitness index of metro areas.
Three: We love millennials. Rent.com named Denver the third best city for college grads thanks to strong job opportunities, a great lifestyle and a large population of millennials.
Two: We know how to have fun. Livability ranked Denver second among its top cities for beer, citing our innovative and award-winning breweries across the Front Range.
One: We’re the best. For the first time our Denver metro area ranked first on Forbes’ 2015 list of Best Places for Business and Careers and it took the top spot on Area Development’s Leading Locations list. Companies relocating here, a strong job market and a recession busting attitude all played roles in these two top rankings.
