About the Bee
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce it will be hosting the 2023 National Civics Bee in Denver, one of many pilot National Civics Bee competitions promoted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Local middle school students will have the chance to participate in a first-round essay competition. From the essay submissions, judges will select students to advance to their local Civics Bee competition: a live quiz event testing civics knowledge. Winners will be recognized in their communities and receive prizes.
The top three winners from the local competitions will advance to the Colorado State Civics Bee competition. The local Denver Civics Bee competition will be held on April 19. The Colorado State Civics Bee competition will be held on May 19. More details on the events to come.
This event is complimentary! Community members can register to attend the Denver Metro Chamber’s Civics Bee here.
