Colorado’s new Fair Chance Hiring Platform, a collaborative effort to reduce recidivism, increase public safety and create more jobs by employing justice-involved individuals across the Colorado, is launching in early March with “The Business Case for Fair Chance Hiring” virtual event on March 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days. Chamber president and CEO Kelly Brough will be one of many speakers at the event. Register today.

This month, the Boettcher Foundation launched the COLead Initiative, which will connect individuals, organizations and communities as part of the organization’s vision to invest in courageous leadership and community-building across Colorado. The initiative is the outcome of the foundation’s year-long effort to discern how it can build a connected, inclusive and accessible leadership ecosystem that serves all of Colorado. Read more.

Spencer Fane LLP has announced the hiring of Joseph (Joe) Hunt in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in Denver as an of-counsel attorney. Hunt’s practice focuses on litigation for all matters related to anti-discrimination statutes, unfair labor practices, accommodations in the workplace, wage and hour issues and contract disputes.
