Collaboration is critical to how we lead, because we know we can accomplish more and we get to better outcomes for all Coloradans when we work together.

With that approach in mind, I’m excited to announce that the Leadership Foundation is teaming up with B:CIVIC, a business association that promotes and advances corporate social responsibility for the betterment of all.

This partnership lets us grow our impact not only by shaping individual leaders but also in growing the culture of giving and volunteerism at organizations across the state.

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Foundation have been longtime supporters of B:CIVIC, and the Chamber was a founding member of the organization. In fact, last year we partnered on a first-of-its-kind Good Business report. Among our leaders who have been connected with B:CIVIC is our own Kirsten Vermulen, who will serve as the executive director of B:CIVIC under the Leadership Foundation.

We are thrilled to welcome B:CIVIC as a partner of the Leadership Foundation, and we know many of our alumni are engaged in B:CIVIC as well. So, we’re also pleased that its members will continue to enjoy access to professional development, networking opportunities and special events geared towards corporate social responsibility professionals and the nonprofit organizations with which they partner.  You can learn more about B:CIVIC and its work at theB:CIVIC Annual Summit Oct. 25. (Chamber members receive a 15 percent discount.)

Please join me in welcoming B:CIVIC members to the Leadership Foundation and find out more about this partnership on The Network.

Thank you for your support. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions about this new partnership at info@denverleadership.org.
