The Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and TIED (Talent, Inclusion, Engagement & Diversity) Roundtable hosted their ninth collaborative Virtual Voices on Thursday, Oct. 21 on what it means to be an ally and the different roles individuals have when pursuing racial equity and diversity.

Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler, founder and chief catalyst for The Equity Project, presented the individual roles and responsibilities that each person has – something that has come up in discussion and questions in almost every other Virtual Voices session to date. Monica Williams, executive producer for The Equity Project and Virtual Voices Planning Committee member, introduced Dr. Tyler’s presentation.

Check out Dr. Tyler’s presentation here, and we encourage you to view a recording of the session here. If you would prefer to watch the recording with subtitles, here is a guide with instructions for how to turn them on.

You can view a list of resources compiled from previous Virtual Voices webinars here. We have started a list of definitions to help frame this and future discussions at Virtual Voices. You can read and download that list here.
