The Colorado Chautauqua - Boulder's Original Mountain Village - is situated at the base of Boulder's Flatirons, 45 minutes from DIA and Downtown Denver and minutes from Downtown Boulder and the CU, Boulder Campus. This National Historic Landmark is Boulder's most visited attraction and has offered a unique destination for offsite meetings and retreats, social events, weddings, vacations, concerts, films, talks and more since its founding in 1898. Break out of the ballroom and discover Chautauqua's historic and charming indoor and outdoor meeting spaces which can host groups from 10-100, While here, enjoy year-round concerts films and talks, 40 miles of hiking trails, farm-fresh catering and hundreds of engaging wellness and nature experiences, including: yoga, QiGong, wildflower and rewilding hikes, art and photography classes, croquet and history tours. Groups and individual travelers can stay in over 60 cottages and lodges of various sizes from studio apartments to eight bedroom lodges. All Chautauqua accommodations have full kitchens or kitchenettes and every cottage also has a screened porch. Many of our lodgings are ADA certified or pet friendly. Chautauqua's peaceful gardens, 1898 Auditorium, 500 trees, Dining Hall (with wraparound porch and farm-to-table cuisine) playground and the iconic Flatirons, are on the doorstep.
