The Chamber's investors make it possible for the organization to provide the many economic development, public affairs, small business and community enhancement programs to help grow and sustain the economy of the Metro Denver area. Major investors are listed below.

AngloGold Ashanti

AngloGold Limited was formed in June 1998 with the consolidation of the gold mining interests of Anglo American plc. Following the business combination of AngloGold and the Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited in April 2004, the Company was renamed AngloGold Ashanti Limited. It became AngloGold Ashanti plc in September 2023 after a significant corporate restructuring which included a change in domicile to the United Kingdom following its being registered and incorporated in England and Wales.

AngloGold Ashanti has a portfolio of assets in the world’s key gold producing regions: Tanzania, the DRC, Ghana, Guinea, Australia, the US, Brazil, Argentina and Colombia. It has a successful track record of greenfields and brownfields exploration.

DaVita

DaVita is a comprehensive kidney care provider focused on transforming care to improve the quality of life for patients globally. The company is one of the largest providers of kidney care services in the United States and has been a leader in clinical quality and innovation for more than 20 years. DaVita is working to help increase equitable access to care for patients at every stage and setting along their kidney health journey — from slowing progression of kidney disease to streamlining the transplant process, from acute hospital care to dialysis at home. As of Dec. 31, 2021, DaVita served 203,000 patients at 2,815 outpatient dialysis centers in the United States. The company operated an additional 339 outpatient dialysis centers in ten countries worldwide. DaVita has reduced hospitalizations, improved mortality, and worked collaboratively to propel the kidney care community to adopt an equitable, high-quality standard of care for all patients, everywhere.

Denver International Airport

Denver International Airport (DEN) is the third-busiest airport in the world, and is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $33 billion for the region annually. The airport has more than 1,500 flights a day and connects Denver with more than 200 nonstop destinations, including direct flights to more than 20 international destinations in 14 countries. DEN is built on 53 square miles, making it the second-largest airport in the world. Its size allows DEN to double the number of runways from six to 12 without needing to purchase more land.

Denver Water

Denver Water proudly serves high-quality water and promotes its efficient use to 1.5 million people in the city of Denver and many surrounding suburbs. Established in 1918, the utility is a public agency funded by water rates and new tap fees, not taxes. It is Colorado’s oldest and largest water utility. Denver Water is committed to continuously improving their operations while remaining responsible stewards of the natural environment and contributing to a vibrant community.

United Airlines

Denver is home to one of United’s fastest growing hubs, with the airline providing service to more places around the world than any other carrier. United, the largest airline in Denver, currently employs more than 7,000 people and expects to create as many as 3,000 well-paying jobs in Denver over the coming years due to the airline’s planned growth. Recently, their minimum wage increased to nearly $20 an hour, and they are committed to hiring a diverse workforce that mirrors the community of Denver.

United’s longstanding commitment to Denver extends beyond the airport, as Denver is home to United’s Flight Training Center – one of the largest facilities of its kind in the world. Each year, United trains more than 12,000 pilots at this state-of-the-art center.
