Senator Bright business leader who has devoted his life to serving the communities within Senate District 13, where he has lived his entire life. Scott graduated from Pacific Union College, earning a degree in Business Management and Accounting, along with a minor in Religion. Since 1990, Scott has been actively involved in the field of education and is the third-generation owner of his family’s early childhood education business. Under his leadership, the company has expanded to include 25 licensed childcare and preschool facilities, employing 250 dedicated staff members and serving over 2,000 families in Weld County. His hands-on experience in managing these facilities, combined with his family’s background in education, gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within Colorado.

Representative Ryan Gonzalez moved to Greeley and House District 50 in middle school. He was born to Mexican immigrants who came to America for better opportunity, freedom and liberty. He is the first member of his family to graduate from both high school and college. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Monfort School Business and went on to complete the Leadership Program of the Rockies, a program that focuses on how visionary, principle-centered leadership can positively impact a community. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024. He is a member of the Energy & Environment Committee and the Finance Committee.
