Civics Bee
9:00 am - 11:00 am
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce it will be hosting the 2025 Denver Civics Bee, one of many National Civics Bee competitions promoted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. 20 middle schoolers from school districts in the Denver Metro area will have the chance to participate in a second-round live competition at the University of Denver, testing their civics knowledge. The winners will be recognized in their communities and receive prizes. Boxed lunches will be provided for in-person attendees.
The top three winners from the local competitions will advance to the Colorado State Civics Bee competition. The local Denver Civics Bee competition will be held on April 9, 2025. The Colorado State Civics Bee competition will be held on May 30, 2025.

The signature annual event of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, Leading Colorado, celebrates exceptional community leadership with the announcement of the 9NEWS Leader of the Year and Boettcher Student Leader of the Year. This is an opportunity for Leadership Foundation alumni and Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce members to connect and support the Leading Colorado Scholarship Fund. This fund removes financial barriers to ensure leaders from all backgrounds and industries can be empowered to build their skills and make an impact in Colorado.
