- Tell us a little about yourself. What brought you to the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, and what excites you most about your role as Manager of Alumni & Community Engagement?
I joined the Leadership Foundation because I believe leadership has the power to transform communities. After spending my career bringing people together across the nonprofit, corporate, and civic sectors, this role feels like a natural fit. Every day I have the privilege of connecting with remarkable leaders who are making a difference across Colorado.
What excites me most is helping our nearly 6,000 alumni stay connected long after graduation. Leadership isn't something that ends when the program does. It is a lifelong journey, and I'm honored to help create opportunities for our alumni to continue learning from one another, building meaningful relationships, and making an even greater impact together.
- What is your vision for our alumni community over the next year?
My vision is simple: I want every alumnus to feel like they belong here.
Whether you've been involved for years or haven't attended an event since graduation, I hope you'll find something that inspires you to reconnect. Through Alumni Salons, Legacy Luncheons, volunteer opportunities, networking events, and new ways to inspire civic engagement, my goal is to create experiences where authentic relationships flourish and unexpected collaborations begin.
The strength of this community has always been the people!
- What advice would you give to alumni who want to get more involved but aren't sure where to start?
Just say yes to one thing.
Come to a Salon. Join us for a Legacy Luncheon. Reach out to me for coffee. Volunteer. Attend an Alumni Engagement Committee meeting. You don't have to jump in with both feet, you simply have to take the first step.
Some of the most meaningful professional relationships begin with a single conversation, and I'd love to help make those introductions.
- Outside of work, what brings you joy?
If you asked the people who know me best, they'd probably describe me as a community builder. I thrive on bringing people together, whether that's through my work, volunteering, or gathering friends around a table. I'm also a global traveler, spokesperson, wife, and proud mama bear to three amazing teenagers. At the end of the day, I'm energized by meaningful conversations, new adventures, and helping people discover they have more in common than they ever imagined.
