FirstBank is offering SBA PPP loans to all members of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. If interested, members should visit their local FirstBank branch and open a commercial account for the applicant entity prior to applying. Learn more about FirstBank’s SBA PPP Loan process.

The new Centennial Hospital, part of HealthONE, the largest health care system in Denver, will open March 1, 2021. This full-service, community-based hospital will allow Centennial residents to have a full-service hospital in their community. Learn more about the new Centennial Hospital.

The Employers Council is offering members of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce a complimentary Return to Work survey to share with employees on returning to the workplace. Click here to view a preview survey. Anyone interested in moving forward with a survey should contact Marleene Buttice.

Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) is hosting its annual Business for the Arts Awards on March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. presented by EY and PNC Bank. The 12 finalists – announced in December – are organizations that have gone above and beyond to support the arts and creative industries and will be honored at a luncheon on March 9. The Advanced Industries Accelerator grant program is hosting a webinar on Feb. 10, 2021 from 1 to 2 p.m. to learn about the open grant opportunities including a Proof of Concept Grant, Early-Stage Capital and Retention Grant and the Collaborative Infrastructure Grant. The Advanced Industries Accelerator Program was created in 2013 to promote growth and sustainability in Colorado’s advanced industries including aerospace, advanced manufacturing, energy and technology. Spencer Fane LLP hired 11 new attorneys to their Denver office. The hires consist of five litigation partners, two of counsel and four associates in its Denver office as the firm continues to expand services to align with the legal needs of its clients. Project Angel Heart recently announced the hiring of Brett Newman as the nonprofit’s new executive chef, and Tera Prim as the vice president of development. Newman most recently served as the executive chef at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. and the Bon Appetit Management Company at the University of Chicago.
