The Denver Health Foundation has been the fundraising arm for Denver Health and Hospital Authority since 1998. We secure private funds to support the hospital, Denver’s only integrated health care system, in its mission to sustain and advance the health and well-being of Denver and the Rocky Mountain region. Highly regarded as a national model of health care success, Denver Health continues to buck trends, delivering high-quality care while still providing more than $246 million in uncompensated care each year. The Denver community turns to us for many nationally ranked specialties, as well as for preventive and primary care through our community health centers and school-based clinics located in neighborhoods throughout Denver county. As health care delivery models evolve with changes to the Affordable Care Act, Denver Health will continue in its role as the cornerstone of the city’s health care system. An independent nonprofit, the Denver Health Foundation channels funds from our community to support diverse programs at Denver Health. We maintain active partnerships with local and national foundations and corporations, and host multiple high-profile fundraising events throughout the year. With the generous contributions from our donors, we provide more than $9 million annually to assist Denver Health in the delivery of high-quality care and vital resources to Denver’s residents, helping them to heal and lead healthy lives.
