MMD provides two volunteers for each student; a central facility from which to hold our weekly sessions; laptops; internet access; food; transportation from respective high schools to the central location; six team leads; a certified test prep specialist; and a program director.
Outside of the sessions, our seven-member board and sixteen-member executive committee meet quarterly and monthly, respectively, to set and maintain the direction of the program.
MMD's program provides a great service to the low-income student population that demonstrates a willingness and desire to achieve academic success and attend college.
MMD's program also provides a great service to our communities because our students graduate from college and return home to give back as professionals.
