Chamber Champ Gina Ventola

When Gina Ventola was doing research in how to effectively market a small business shortly after the launch of Ventola Law in 2013, she stumbled upon an article from the Small Business Administration that recommended getting involved with a community organization. After some research, Ventola found the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce as the organization that could help the business that she started with her husband, Samuel Ventola, grow.

Since 2013, Ventola has been an incredibly active member of the Chamber, serving in many capacities including Chamber ambassador and a facilitator for the Gold Member Alliance Program. She was recognized this past April as a Chamber Champion, an award voted on by the Chamber’s Board, that honors a member’s involvement and contributions.

Ventola’s mission to grow leads and market Ventola Law has seen great success over the past eight years. “Twenty-seven percent of our revenue over the last year came from relationships that we built at the Chamber,” said Ventola.

Her favorite networking event – the Holiday Net 90 – provides a fun opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber members, but you can run into Gina at many different types of events from Gold Networking to Your Conversation With. “I would absolutely recommend attending a networking event. There are so many great, free events included in your membership. Why would you not capitalize on them?” she added.

Relationship-building is just one of the many aspects of Chamber membership that Ventola takes advantage of. She is also the Chamber’s Leads Group chair, where she assists the program’s staff lead and manages over 15 group leaders. She is always adding value with new ideas on ways to improve this program for her fellow Chamber members.

“I first found out [about Leads Groups] by attending an open house, where I spoke to various leaders and realized this was a place where I could build even more relationships,” added Ventola. “For someone to fully understand Leads Groups, I like to describe them to others as being part of the Marvel Universe, where everyone has their own superpower, but no one has the same one. It’s all about collaboration.”

Ventola Law has found immense value in Leads Group involvement, Chamber networking events, office supplies discounts and more. Ventola also listed other services that the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) provides, such as being able to schedule time to meet one on one with a business coach. As a result of the firm’s membership, Ventola Law has built a reputation that has led to regular word-of-mouth referrals.

Thank you, Gina, for all of your contributions to the Chamber! If you’re interested in joining the Chamber, but have questions for a fellow member, please email Gina today and connect with our membership team.
