CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties was incorporated in 1999 and serves the 17th Judicial District of Colorado. They are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and part of The National CASA Association for Children, which supports a network of 950 CASA Programs in 49 states and the District of Columbia. They recruit, train, and supervise community volunteers, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA’s), to advocate in court for children and youth. The mission of CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties is to provide court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children and youth from the child welfare system so every child can be safe, have a permanent home, and the opportunity to thrive.
Civic Center Conservancy
Founded due to the recognition of Civic Center Park's challenges and the limitations of city resources, the Civic Center Conservancy is committed to delivering what the community desires most—a vibrant, thriving, and clean park. The driving motivation behind the organization is to actively contribute to the improvement of Civic Center Park. Civic Center Conservancy prides themselves on their ability to foster partnership development and get the right people at the table to facilitate important conversations where collective outcomes can be achieved. The mission remains unchanged—to maintain Civic Center as the best of Denver.
Denver Food Rescue
Denver Food Rescue (DFR) is dedicated to promoting health equity and food security in Denver neighborhoods. Through rescuing high-quality, fresh produce and perishable foods and delivering them via our No Cost Grocery Programs (NCGPs), often by biking, we address systemic health disparities and reduce food waste. By collaborating with existing community organizations and empowering residents to lead food distribution, we strive to create culturally relevant and stigma-free solutions. At DFR, we envision a world where health is a universal right, and we are committed to continuous improvement through community feedback and evidence-based research.
