Celebrating Black History Month: February marked Black History Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the achievements and impacts of African Americans. In addition to honoring leaders who shaped our past, we want to celebrate alumni who are currently having an impact on our community. Celebrating Our Veteran Alumni for Their Service and Community Impact: On Veteran’s Day, we honor the millions of veterans who have served our country. Veterans, thank you for your service, your sacrifices, your leadership and our freedom. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month: Hispanic Heritage Month, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, is the celebration of the diverse history and culture of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities and the positive impact those communities have on our society. We want to recognize alums Nathan Cadena, Kayla Garcia, Tariana Navas-Nieves, Rick Padilla and Marisol Solarte-Erlacher who are making a difference in our Latinx and Hispanic alumni community.
