Parker White

DENVER – AUGUST 4, 2025, The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Parker White as its new Director of Government Affairs - Colorado Competitive Council (C3). White joins the Chamber with a strong track record in public policy, national defense, and strategic communications, and will play a pivotal role in shaping Colorado’s statewide affairs and advancing public policy on behalf of Colorado’s business community.

C3 is comprised of business leaders and investors from across the state who are committed to driving practical, forward-looking policies that promote economic strength, competitiveness, and growth. Representing both urban and rural communities, C3 is a leading voice on statewide affairs. Membership in C3 has doubled over the past three years and remains a top priority for the Chamber as it works to strengthen Colorado’s economy and business climate.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Parker to our team,” said J. J. Ament, President and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. “His statewide and national experience, combined with a deep commitment to service, make him the right leader to guide C3 and our government affairs strategy. We know he will hit the ground running for our members.”

White most recently served as the Director of Government Affairs for the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), representing the department—including the Colorado Army and Air National Guard—at the state Capitol and in Washington, D.C. During his tenure, he led major legislative victories, built historic national coalitions, and secured millions in funding and policy wins to support military personnel and operations. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Colorado Space Business Roundtable and is a Logistics Officer in the Colorado Army National Guard.

In his new role, White will serve as a key leader in shaping Colorado’s statewide affairs and public policy. He will work directly with C3 investors and Chamber members to identify issues, advocate for business-friendly policies, and ensure Colorado remains a competitive place to live, work, and do business.

“I’m honored to join the Chamber and lead the Colorado Competitive Council,” said White. “This is an incredible opportunity to partner with leaders from every corner of our state to ensure our economy is thriving, our policies are practical, and our businesses are equipped to succeed. I look forward to listening to our members, learning from them, and getting to work—right away.”

White will officially begin his new role on August 18.
