Colorado State University Global (CSU Global) launched CSU Global Direct to provide the necessary prerequisite courses students need to attend professional school, begin a graduate program or accelerate their undergraduate degree in an affordable and flexible learning environment. Students are also able to pay on a per-course basis, allowing self-payers to avoid unnecessary loan debt. Registration is now open at CSUGlobal.edu/Direct with classes beginning in March 2022. KLJ Engineering announced Wade Kline will take on a new role, leading KLJ’s newly created Public Engagement Team. The company has completed public engagement work for decades and recently formalized a group to provide a streamlined experience for clients and to take on independent public engagement work. As a principal transportation planner, Kline will continue to lead key planning projects and studies.

Jason Smith, president and CEO of TrueNorth Companies, has extended his title of president to Trent Tillman, executive vice president of TrueNorth’s transportation division. Smith will remain CEO and Tillman will take on the role of president, while also retaining his responsibilities as executive vice president of the transportation division. This strategic decision will support firm growth as TrueNorth continues to operate as one of the nation’s largest privately held full-service risk management and insurance brokerage firms. An anonymous donor contributed $25 million to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and its supporting organization, the DMNS Foundation, which marks the largest gift in the institution’s 121-year history. Ten percent of the donation will go to the museum to help with staffing, equipment and launch activities while the remaining 90% will help establish an endowed fund at the DMNS Foundation.  DaVinci Sign Systems, Inc. became an employee-owned company via an ESOP Trust on Dec. 1. An ESOP (Employee Stock Options Plan) allows shares of a company to be transferred to employees, which gives workers the benefits of future appreciation of company value. As a result, the founder has the comfort of knowing that the company's legacy will be in the hands of the people who helped build it.
