We want to recognize your work. You’ve got until July 31 to apply for The Civic 50 Colorado. This inaugural award will recognize our state’s 50 most community-minded businesses who provide their time, talents and resources for good. Whether you’re a large or small company, we want to hear about what you’re doing in the community.
These companies will be recognized for their work on Sept. 19 at the B:CIVIC Summit and in the Denver Business Journal – a great way to shine a light on the work you do. We’re able to offer this opportunity through B:CIVIC – an affiliate of our Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. B:CIVIC helps companies of all sizes develop their strategy for how they want to give back to our community and have a meaningful impact, so our Leadership Foundation is a natural home for that work because for decades we have been building the leaders who want to make an impact in the community and work together to find solutions to the challenges we face.
What kinds of companies apply? This honor is open to companies with at least 15 employees in Colorado – and is just the second local edition of what was previously only a national honor. In fact, just last week Points of Light named this year’s 50 best companies for the national Civic 50 recognition. Among them are Chamber members whose impact we see in Colorado every day, including: AT&T, Charles Schwab, Comcast, Deloitte, FedEx, Hogan Lovells, KeyBank, KPMG, PwC, S&P Global, UnitedHealthcare and Wells Fargo.
In the application you’ll be asked how you, your team and your organization share your time, talent and resources to help make Colorado stronger. In addition to the recognition among your peers, you’ll get a scorecard with recommendations on how your company can grow its impact with your community engagement programs.
