The mission of Activate is to help low-income individuals achieve economic freedom through the dignity of work. As recruiters and trainers, Activate creates pathways to self-sufficiency by recruiting motivated low-income individuals to living-wage career-path employment and by supporting them post-placement with intensive professional and life skills training for career stability and success. Since 2016, Activate has served as a bridge connecting overlooked talent with high-quality careers in financial services, business services, healthcare, and skilled trades, transforming lives and communities. In 2019, Activate partnered with Per Scholas to bring their nationally replicated IT training and career development model to Denver. The partnership with Per Scholas enables Activate to expand into a new industry vertical and increase the impact and scale of our services. ActivateIT provides IT training, professional/career training, job placement support, and individualized post-placement professional & life skills coaching for entry-level IT professionals in careers such as IT helpdesk, network or system administration, and entry-level cybersecurity. Our courses are tuition-free, 6-18 week IT courses customized for IT employers.
