Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver offers hard-working, low-income families the opportunity to own affordable housing so that they may find greater stability and grow into their full potential. Habitat leverages financial, volunteer and community resources to accomplish this goal – bringing people together to make a lasting difference. Each family selected into Habitat’s program has a vision for a brighter future and understands the importance of a safe, affordable home to achieve their goals. Habitat for Humanity is committed to building, rehabilitating and repairing homes throughout Metro Denver until every family in our community has a decent, affordable place to call home. Habitat Metro Denver has served more than 600 local families since it first began building homes in 1979. In 2015, Habitat Metro Denver plans to serve 95 families through new home construction, critical home repairs, and the sponsorship of homes in partnering countries around the world.
