About the Bee

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to bring the National Civics Bee back to Metro Denver for a second year! This civics competition encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Participating 6th, 7th and 8th graders will flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes. The top three participants from the Denver Metro Chamber’s regional contest will proceed to the Colorado state competition in May, and qualifying students from the state contest will progress to the inaugural national competition in Washington, D.C.!
