Monthly Member Meetings
Over the past year, we’ve seen some incredible changes at the Denver Metro Chamber. As we welcomed new leadership and staff amidst a time of pandemic uncertainty, we were also strategizing, rebranding and researching how we can best serve our members. This meant taking a critical look at the programs and benefits we offer, and breaking down how we can make these benefits even stronger through their content, accessibility and connection to the business community. With this in mind, we are excited to announce the relaunch and restructure of our membership committee programs!
Rather than silo our members into distinct committees—Education & Workforce, Health & Wellness, Infrastructure, and Public Affairs—we want to take an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates the Metro Denver EDC’s industry clusters into our membership programming, recognizing the interconnectedness of a business ecosystem. We have launched a new structure for membership programs, called Monthly Member Meetings, at the Gold Committee level and above. These meetings will be held monthly at the Chamber, with programming from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and a networking happy hour in our tap room from 5:00-6:00 p.m. We’re also opening access to these programs, so that a member organization at the Gold Committee level and up can send any interested employee to the meeting.
Every change we are implementing is in the interest of our members. By taking an interdisciplinary approach, we aim to have deeper conversations that are relevant to all industries and trends in Metro Denver, providing attendees with a greater understanding of how our region works together. We also want these meetings open to any employees at a Gold Committee and up organization so we can get a broad range of attendees that have genuine interest and involvement in the topics at hand.
Here’s what we’ve covered so far, and what we expect to cover for upcoming meetings. Meetings with an * next to them are subject to change:
- October Meeting | Featured candidates for CD 7 and CD 8
- November Meeting | EPA Nonattainment & Business Implications
- December Meeting | Affordable Housing Policy
- January Meeting | The Future of Colorado Energy
- February Meeting | Impact of FAMLI
- March Meeting | Legislative Session Halfway Update
- Upcoming April Meeting | The Impact of Water
- May | To be determined
- June | To be determined
As we evolve our programs, we need your help to make them successful. We will be regularly seeking member feedback to ensure that what we deliver is meeting your needs as a Chamber member. We are so excited for the new opportunities, benefits and experiences we are able to offer our members through our refreshed approach. Check out the 2022-23 calendar below to save the date for our next meeting!
