The Colorado River Compact and rapidly shrinking water levels for Lake Mead and Lake Powell have made headlines in Colorado and around the nation. Western states are reckoning with water scarcity and the reality that access to water will determine the future of our growth, and the scramble has begun to conserve and store water as populations increase and reservoirs dry up. Multi-state water conservation requires innovation and collaboration, which is why we are excited share with members the expertise of Jennifer Gimbel and Eric Kuhn, Common Sense Institute Fellows, and Tony Massaro, Colorado Policy Consultant for Business for Water Stewardship.
Together with your cohort of member classmates, you will get an in-depth look at the Chamber’s many offerings – from networking receptions to small business mentoring, and signature events to civic engagement opportunities. In this series of three sessions, the meetings will take place on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 pm as well as a happy hour.
The Chamber will be hosting the Denver Mayoral Forum in partnership with Downtown Denver Partnership and VISIT DENVER. Join us on April 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. to hear from the runoff candidates as they enter this pivotal next phase of the election. At this event, the top candidates will address critical business issues and their vision for the future of Denver.

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce hosts its Business Awards annually to recognize local organizations in six categories: large nonprofit, small nonprofit, woman or BIPOC-owned, small business, start-up, and economic driver of the year. These awards recognize the organizations that are writing Denver’s next chapter in business. Award applicants are narrowed down to three finalists in each category. The finalists are honored at our luncheon on Thursday April 27, 2023, and winners will be announced live!
