The Colorado River Compact and rapidly shrinking water levels for Lake Mead and Lake Powell have made headlines in Colorado and around the nation. Western states are reckoning with water scarcity and the reality that access to water will determine the future of our growth, and the scramble has begun to conserve and store water as populations increase and reservoirs dry up. Multi-state water conservation requires innovation and collaboration, which is why we are excited share with members the expertise of Jennifer Gimbel and Eric Kuhn, Common Sense Institute Fellows, and Tony Massaro, Colorado Policy Consultant for Business for Water Stewardship.

National Civics Bee Competition

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Daniels Fund, is proud to host the Top 20 middle school students from Metro Denver to compete in the 2023 National Civics Bee competition, promoted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce! This will be a live quiz event testing civics knowledge with students who could be the next generation of elected officials!
