Keys to Successful Funding a Focus at State of Small Business

Three hundred entrepreneurs and business leaders will hear about the latest economic and funding trends for their businesses at State of Small Business on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

WHAT: State of Small Business, presented by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center in partnership with the University of Colorado Denver Business School, gives Colorado’s entrepreneurs insight into hot topics among the region’s small business community.

WHO: Patty Silverstein, president and chief economist of Development Research Partners, will discuss key economic trends among Colorado’s small business community.

Local business leaders Peter Adams, executive director of Rockies Venture Club; Ceyl Prinster, president and CEO of Colorado Enterprise Fund; and Matt Anderson, chief digital officer and president of Arrow Electronics, will join Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kelly Brough to discuss funding opportunities for small and startup businesses—and how businesses of any size can support Colorado’s entrepreneurial community.

The Chamber and the University of Colorado Denver Business School will also award the second annual Bill Daniels Ethical Leader of the Year Award to Kate Paul, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Colorado.
