I love the spirit of collaboration among Colorado businesses and executives. Everyone’s door is open, and everyone is willing to share their insights, expertise and connections.
You may not know that I donated a kidney 10 years ago and encourage everyone to consider live organ donation! I love the Rockies and go to spring training every year. And, I wanted to be on Broadway when I was a kid and still love to perform.
Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Board Chair
Ruth Rohs
Vice President of Corporate Communications of the IMA Financial Group, Inc. and Executive Director of the IMA Foundation
I moved to Colorado in 1994 and started my career in the nonprofit sector. I realized immediately how generous the corporate community is because of their commitment to funding key initiatives facing our city and state. As I transitioned to the corporate side, I became even more keenly aware of how philanthropic Denver’s business community is. I love that our business community is so welcoming – you raise your hand and you get called on.
You may not know I co-founded the first nonprofit Mardi Gras krewe in Denver. And, I love college football, especially when my alma mater is playing – Roll Tide!
Metro Denver EDC Executive Committee Co-Chair
Carla Dore

I love doing business in Colorado because of the high level of quality and integrity in the people I get to work with. It seems no matter what opportunities or challenges we face, there is always a way to find innovative solutions. I get to work with the smartest, kindest people, internally and in the market.
You may not know that I’ve thrown out the first pitch at a Rockies game and that I’m a fourth generation Colorado native!
Metro Denver EDC Incoming Board of Governors Co-Chair
Jenny Engle

I’m eager to continue learning about the diverse and innovative companies that are locating and growing in Colorado and finding connections and ways to support their success. I’m honored to represent Fidelity and be among such a talented group.
You may not know that even though I’m a Boston transplant, my family has been coming to Colorado since I was a kid, camping and hiking all around the state – I actually celebrated my first birthday in Estes Park. Living in Colorado has been a dream of mine for many years.
Denver Metro Small Business Development Advisory Board Chair
Rob Smith
Executive Director of Rocky Mountain MicroFinance
I love doing business in Colorado because our business community sees itself as key component of the social fabric of the greater community. People are very willing to connect and open their networks to help advance both our economic and social priorities. There is also a wonderful mindset that plays out when you live in such a beautiful environment when you can successfully integrate work and play into your life.
You may not know that in a former life I was a professional coffee roaster.
