Comcast RISE (Representation, Investment, Strength and Empowerment), a program committed to supporting U.S. Black-owned small businesses hardest hit by the pandemic, is still accepting applications for grants from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-owned small businesses in our community. Twenty-seven Colorado small businesses have already received support through Comcast RISE. If selected, your business will receive marketing or advertising consultation, media placements, commercial creative production services and technology services from Effectv and/or Comcast Business. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck recently named Margaux Trammell as the firm’s director of professional development. She oversees all firm-wide talent initiatives, including training and development, performance evaluations and management, attorney and policy professional integration, internal advancement, mentoring and career planning. Trammell also ensures that all professional development programs align with Brownstein’s core values, and she supports the firm’s diversity, inclusion and equity goals. Trammell joined the firm 15 years ago and brings almost two decades of experience as a practicing attorney to her new position.
