The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (Metro Denver EDC) helped bring 16 company relocations or expansions to our region in the last year. And, that’s no small feat. The Metro Denver EDC, like economic development groups across the country, works with site selectors who help companies find the region that’s the right fit for their organization and employees. When one company grows in our region, it puts Coloradans to work and benefits us all. Next week the Metro Denver EDC will host a panel of national site selectors on Friday, Sept. 18, as part of its annual Site Selection Conference.
Here are a few things we think that site selectors will love about our region and what our businesses love about being located here:
We’re connected. From being able to get around town easily on a bike, by train or across the globe by plane, there’s no shortage of connections that are making the Denver metro area even closer to global markets.
We’re on the map. From increasing our reach through our Global Leadership Circle—comprised of CEOs who focus on making our state and region more competitive globally—to number one rankings for economic and career success from Area Development and Forbes, there are plenty of reasons for businesses to be paying attention to our region.
We’ve got talent. We’re home to one of the smartest, fittest workforces—and access to that talent is critical for a company’s success. The companies choosing to do business in Colorado are also committed to ensure we grow that talent pipeline with our kids.
Join us next Friday to learn more about how site selectors see our region’s competitive advantages.
