Your Guide to the 2016 Ballot

The November ballot is set and as we all expected, there will be plenty to vote on. Our advice is get comfortable, bring sustenance (that’s food and water), because it’s going to take a while to get to the end of that ballot.  And, we NEED every voter to go all the way to end.

We don’t want to discourage you, but only remind you that we’re looking at the longest ballot we’ve seen since 2010. And, there’s a lot at stake, so it’s important that you’re up to speed.

The Chamber has taken a position on eight ballot issues that are critical to our current and future workforce, our quality of life, our economic future and even our democracy.

Here’s your cheat sheet (no seriously, you can download or print our ballot guide)

Here’s a quick video on these issues as well. Check it out:

Campaigns are like every other effort—they only work because people get involved. We need you to do more than just vote. We need you to share this information with your friends, colleagues, family—even that person you see at your bus or train stop every day. Each campaign has a website and needs volunteers and resources—consider joining one of the efforts and helping deliver on the goal of creating the best Colorado we can.

Join us at Gold Networking on Oct. 12 and the U.S. Senate Candidate Forum on Oct. 17 to dive deeper into this year’s ballot. Visit denverchamber.org/elections for the latest information from the Chamber about critical issues on the ballot.
